AniDuo Privacy Notice

Pre-launch notice. This summary is based on the current planned service. The complete policy must be reviewed and finalized before public account registration or paid checkout begins.

What AniDuo does

AniDuo is operated by Minted Investments LLC. The desktop app helps users discover anime and donghua, save titles, and manage viewing activity. Optional account-based synchronization makes selected app information available on other signed-in devices.

Account and sync information

Account sign-in uses an email verification process. When you opt into cloud synchronization, AniDuo may store Favorites, Watch History, Continue Watching, playback progress, app preferences and information necessary to associate synchronized records with your account.

Diagnostics

AniDuo's software may send limited service and reliability events to help us detect errors and improve the experience. The full production privacy notice will explain which events are collected and any optional controls.

Payments

When paid subscriptions become available, Stripe will handle payment checkout and related payment information under its own terms and privacy practices. AniDuo intends to store billing identifiers and subscription status needed to enable the purchased sync service, not full payment-card details.

Third-party video services

Videos may play through third-party websites or embeds. Those providers may have their own cookies, tracking, advertising, subscriptions and privacy notices.
